    They went to Amsterdam, Holland, where is recorded the baptism of a son Philip Jan 3, 1616 at the Walloon Church, they were later at Leyden; returned to Amsterdam; came to America and settled in Albany. He was court messenger.

    Rebecca de Trieux who married Simon Groot is thought to be the daughter of the above Philip and perhaps a second wife. The name is now Truax.
