WitnessBetween 1690 and 1740Mendon, Worcester, MA, USA, Benjamin called senior to distinguish him from his son Benjamin Jr., lived on the old abandoned homesite in South Milford on the south side of Mellen Street. He was a large land owner, a miller, and a surveyor. He built a grist mill in Mendon as did his ancestors. Records show many land deals and transfers, many with son Benjamin, Jr., some with his father James and one deal with his son Obediah. He is buried in the old town cemetary in Mendon, near the town hall and library as was his son Ben J. He left his estate and land to his eldest son Benjamin junior.2
